Cape Breton University is committed to providing quality health care and services to meet the needs of students, faculty and staff. We strive to promote and enhance the good health and well-being of the university community. The NDHCC offers confidential health services to registered students, staff and faculty can access these services if they do not have primary care and are on the 811 waitlist. The NDHCC is a collaborative health care centre with nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians and mental health counsellors on site working together to meet the needs of our patients.

Addiction Treatment

Treatment and support for individuals struggling with substance or behavioral addictions.

Anger Management

Therapeutic techniques to help individuals control and manage their anger.

Art Therapy

A form of psychotherapy that uses creative methods such as drawing, painting, and sculpting to help people express themselves.

ADHD/ADD Treatment

Diagnosis and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).

Brainspotting

A focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing trauma, negative emotions and pain, including physically-induced pain.
